Hatcher types

There are 3 basic types of cash-currency Hatchers:
  • Permanent Hatcher - The default Hatcher, which has a stable list of permanently available characters. This one is not generally worth using, since it provides no bonus. All characters available here are refered to as Permanent, and can still appear in the other hatchers, so it's not your best option to use.

  • Face Hatcher - A periodic Hatcher that often accompanies the release of a new unit. The appearance rate of the new unit will be boosted, and the first use will be half cost, so it can be a decent way to expand your stable of units if you are starting. Not worth using past the initial/discount use in general. Face units tend to become Permanent units, so you should have opportunities to get any featured here again later as party of any random batch.

  • Festival Hatcher - A hatcher which generally appears once per month for a short time (~1 day), and offers a rare and powerful unit. There is no discount on the use of this Hatcher, but these are the ones always worth trying for, as they have the possibility for the best units.

Addionally, there is the Link Hatcher, which uses 'Links' (points earned by playing with others or using their units on your team) to quickly get experience, gold, and fruit. This is the primary source for 'Alchemy Fruit', which are very rare and used to increase your units' Skill level.
