Re-rolling

Re-rolling is a common practice for gatcha games, in which players repeatedly create new accounts in attempt to obtain the best possible result for their intial random unit rolls.

In Crash Fever, there are several things to note when re-rolling an account:
  1. What units are being featured in the Hatcher(s)? The best time to re-roll is when limited festival units are available. However, this happens rarely and only for very short windows, so if you want to get started, it may not be feasible to wait. In these cases, there is a general list of top Permanent units to aim for.

  2. What is the cost to use the Hatcher? Always save up for a 10-shot at the Hatcher when re-rolling. This will help because either a) Festival Hatchers cost 500 Polygons to use for a 10-roll; you always want to save up this amount, since it will offer a guaranteed chance at a 5-star unit, which is sometimes the minimum possible option for limited units, and b) Face Hatchers and unit-featured Hatchers cost 250 Polygons for the first roll; this is a fantastic savings option to get more units as quickly and cheaply as possible.

  3. What units should I aim for? If there is a Festival Hatcher, then basically any Festival unit is fantastic. Some are more powerful than others, but all are very rare, and their value to you may ultimately depend on what other unit you have to support a team.

If there is no Festival Hatcher, then the most important units are those which affect the color of upcoming panels. These are:

    Rapunzel

    Draig*

    Lancelot

    Kenshin
    as well as the
    exceptional unit

    Murasaki

They should be your top consideration when re-rolling outside of a Festival.

  4. IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY STARS THE UNIT APPEARS WITH.
    What do stars mean?

*While Draig is very excellent, he is a special case in stars, since he can be difficult to awaken for new players. If you get Draig as 4-star, it is worth keeping the account as long as you have some people who can help you get the material unit 'Sugaru'.
